christmas day really wasn't the best day for a kitten to be born on. it was cold, oh so cold. even in the nursery, miserykit was already freezing. he wasn't thinking intelligent thoughts at this point, not really knowing much about language. but, if he had been, he would have been very frightened and confused. it was all really sudden, honestly. a lot had happened in not a lot of time. whatever that was.

he lifted her head up, letting out a mewl and pressing herself against the warmth that was his mother. but something seemed odd, she wouldn't respond in anyway to him. there weren't really any sounds. no, his ears were flattened down, keeping all of those voices out. but he did feel a lot of cats. life was already scary, and she had no clue what life even was.

the kittens odd sky blue coat looked very strange compared to his siblings, he was the ugly duckling, the freak, the out cast. of course he didn't know, he didn't know what he looked like and he never would. he was born blind, but maybe it was better off, not seeing how different he was. just maybe.

the blind kitten shuffled over gingerly. 'h-hello i'm miserykit.' he would sob, all he heard was echoes, and it freaked him out. his scared face melted into a small pout, he didn't like this joiner, not one bit.

miserykit would stumble over still getting used to hard land, his pupiless eyes tearily turned to imposter santa. 'i bet this has a a c-catch, everything does! nothing in life j-just come to to wi-without work!' the blind kit would exclaim quite seriously taking a place next to his sister. his words weren't formed fully and he had a stutter. the youth already knew how life worked, you worked for things, nothing just came to you like that. but for him, he didn't really understand this "holiday", its morals seemed to be strange and extra terristrial to him.

miserykit would glare at the un-known she-cat quizically. 'b-but...' he would mumble til realising there would be no point arguing. she was just trying to cheer him up? he wasn't sure, most people just ignored him. he then turned to edward.
the blind darling looked quite curious at the statement. 'm-magic?' he would cry as he picked up something soft, it just felt so appealing, like he could bundle himself up in it and pretend he wasn't there. 'th-that stuff is n-not real m-my sources sa-say, j-just some stuff t-to make life seem worth-worth living...' he'd say as if he was quite outraged at the idea of a mythical arts going on under his nose. there was no such thing as this 'magic' the stranger spoke of, well at least thats what he thought.
the odd ball snuggled the thing he was given tight and rubbed his scared nose in the gift. 'thank you anyway sir...' and miserykit felt a warm fuzzy feeling in his chest, it must be some bad food he ate or something. it just didn't seem right but it felt good... maybe this was the magic? no way, just him being sick. he'd go to the medic den soon.

so many voices all at once, ugh, this made him feel uncomfortable. the air seemed to become alive with the presence of clan mates but miserykit didn't like it one bit. 'h-hi, i'm uh miserykit...' he didn't like the name but it described him well, he was truly a miseryguts.
he would try to remember all these people who have greeted him, he didn't have a good memory. then he would turn to his litter mate's, he wished all eleven off them were here that would be fun.
he would feel not as all peeved around his siblings, they were his built-in buddies, they'd never leave him. right? he would managed to form his horrid mouth into a smile showing off his shark-like teeth.

miserykit would be stumbling through territory, his form melting into a bear, then a bird, then a wolf and back to feline. ugh, this always happened when he was sick. he's let out a husky cough and bunch of blue goo would shoot out of his throat. yuck.

he would go on a steady journey to medic den when he tripped over some object. now how would leave just junk around for some poor blind kit to trip over. he noticed he got a nice graze on his knee. it hurt. he cried.
